Chicago’s Garret Kriston (aka Harshest Realm) delivers a mind-melting collection of fuzzy, electronic-tinged fusion pieces on his debut release for Primordial Void. A frequent collaborator of cult favorite Marshall Stacks, Kriston has been producing some of the weirdest, most technically brilliant experimental music in recent memory. If Out for Justice 2 is any indication, he’s a composer that deserves to be mentioned alongside iconic synth shredders James Ferraro and Oneohtrix Point Never.

In his own words, Kriston writes:

“The pieces on Out for Justice 2 can accurately be labeled as ‘guitar-oriented electronic jazz fusion.’ If you’ve ever wondered what today’s R&B or footwork might sound like delivered via prog-indebted structures and topped with the most luxuriously tasty licks currently found throughout all of modern music, consider this incredible release to be your angel in waiting. There’s even an epic slowcore indie rock song to really keep the listener on their toes!”
